Managed hosting
The site runs on infrastructure we look after. You are not left in a cheap control panel hoping the next ticket is answered.
Spencer Hardy · TechGlint
If you are not a sysadmin, you should not have to become one on a Friday night. TechGlint looks after the website that earns you enquiries: hosting, Cloudflare Pro, nightly offsite backups, and a person on WhatsApp when something breaks.
We take the technical weight. You keep taking bookings and enquiries.
The site runs on infrastructure we look after. You are not left in a cheap control panel hoping the next ticket is answered.
CDN, TLS and the usual protection sit in front of the site. Included in the monthly care — not a surprise extra you have to buy yourself.
Every night we take a backup and keep a copy offsite. Restores still take a working window. We practise them; we do not pretend they are instant.
Message Spencer when the enquiry form dies or the diary will not load. Hours, not days. No canned ticket close.
We move you off the old host, tidy what is unsafe, and leave you with something that simply works.
Booking flows, enquiry forms, certificates, plugins that ate themselves. The unglamorous work that keeps a live business online.
Short, plain, and done in the open. No twelve-slide sales process.
Form or WhatsApp. Name, how to reach you, the URL, and what is going wrong — or what you want taken off your plate.
A short look at the host and the site. Then a monthly figure, in English, before you pay. Simpler sites sit near the from-price; fragile ones cost more.
Hosting, Cloudflare Pro, nightly offsite backups, and the quiet maintenance that stops small faults becoming a weekend outage.
WhatsApp when something breaks. You are talking to someone who can open the server, not a queue.
Non-technical owners whose booking or enquiry site is part of how the business lives.
When the form dies, the phone stops ringing. Downtime is lost bookings, not a hobby inconvenience.
You should not have to learn Apache, WordPress recovery, or a host control panel at midnight.
The bargain looked fine until nobody answered while the diary sat broken. That is the usual story.
Not a fit if you want to SSH all day yourself, or you need a factory of packages and account managers. TechGlint is boutique on purpose.
USD. Cloudflare Pro included. No public tiers — we look at the site and say the number.
Final figure after a quick look. We say so before you commit. Busier or more fragile sites sit above the from-price; we do not hide that in a comparison grid.
Write to [email protected], use the form, or WhatsApp.
What actually changed on a live booking site. No invented percentages.
Case study
The live server was still on CentOS 7, MySQL 5.7, PHP 7.1, and WordPress, with about twenty ports open to the internet and a disk close to half a terabyte. We stood up a new Debian container, moved the database, WordPress and files, then retired the old box.
Security and speed came from that work, not from a plugin pack. Restores still take a working window.
About
Spencer Hardy runs TechGlint. Boutique on purpose: a small number of live sites, looked after properly, with WhatsApp to a person who can actually open the server. You deal with him, not a ticket queue.
Name, email, the URL, and a short note. Or skip the form and WhatsApp.
If we are a fit, we will say so. If not, we will say that too.
